After a week of rain delays the sun finally came out, and so did the tennis.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A first title for Lily Hart<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sixteen-year-old Lily Hart, who joined our junior academy at the age of seven, beat defending champion Sarah Mitchell 6-4, 7-5 in the women\u2019s final. \u201cI have watched this final from the terrace every year,\u201d Lily said. \u201cPlaying it myself was unreal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three sets on Centre Court<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The men\u2019s final between Tom Okafor and Daniel Reyes went the distance. Okafor saved two match points at 5-6 in the third set before taking the tiebreak 9-7. The padel doubles title went to Emma and James Whitfield, the first married couple to win it.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to all volunteers, line judges and the bar team.
